Challenge: Design a logo for Mizar, a fresh and professional eyewear shop for a younger demographic.
Solution: After some research, I sketched ideas to bring out the meaning of “mizar,” that being a quadruple system of stare in the big dipper. Mizar is symbolized by the character “ζ,” the Greek letter Z, hence the use of it in my wordmark. The mark is contained by an almond eye shape, and the color palette is space themed.
